We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is in the accounting industry and will be based in a detail oriented workplace setting. The successful candidate will be tasked with a variety of accounting functions, including handling accounts payable and receivable, auditing, credit analysis, and working with various accounting software systems.


Responsibilities:

• Utilize accounting software systems to process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Ensure accurate and timely handling of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Conduct regular audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance

• Perform credit analysis to assess customer creditworthiness

• Handle B2B collections, ensuring timely receipt of payments

• Carry out job cost calculations and billing functions

• Use Concur and QuickBooks for various accounting tasks

• Manage and resolve any customer inquiries related to their accounts

• Perform some clerical duties as required to support the accounting department.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory
• Familiarity with Concur is essential
• Sound knowledge of Accounting Functions is required
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary
• Ability to perform Auditing tasks is expected
• Capability to manage Billing Functions is essential
• Expertise in QuickBooks is needed
• Proficiency in Job Cost is required
• Experience in Collections is necessary
• Familiarity with B2B collections is a plus
• Proficiency in Credit Analysis is desired
