We are inviting applications for the role of Accounting Manager/Supervisor located in Chatsworth, California. The primary function of the position is to oversee the accounting operations of the company, including the full accounting cycle, month-end closings, and analysis of financial reports. The role requires expertise in using NetSuite software and is set in a dynamic workplace environment.

Responsibilities:
• Overseeing daily accounting functions to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Performing month-end close procedures and ensuring timely completion
• Managing Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) operations
• Executing monthly and annual close of income statement, balance sheet, and general ledger
• Reviewing and reconciling balance sheet schedules periodically
• Monitoring and processing monthly sales commissions for independent sales representatives
• Supervising accounting staff and approving weekly payments via various methods
• Assisting in external audits by providing requested schedules and information
• Administering benefits programs, including health and dental insurance, vacation, sick leave, and FMLA
• Monitoring company assets and filing annual assets reports with the State of California
• Building requested reports in NetSuite for staff and sales representatives.

• Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounting Manager/Supervisor

• Proficient in handling Accounting Functions

• Demonstrated experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven competency in Auditing

• Netsuite Proficiency REQUIRED

• Experience in conducting Month End Close and Year End Closings

• Expertise in handling Annual Tax and Audit processes

• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

• Must hold a relevant degree in Accounting or Finance

• Familiarity with local and national financial legislation is a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
