Schedule: 8:00 am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday (TEMPORARILY FOR AN ESTIMATED 90 DAYS WORK ONLY!)


Pay Rate: $25.00-$26.00/hr.

Job Description: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, including a degree in Accounting or significant practical experience. You will be responsible for managing and navigating the general ledger, utilizing accounting software, and performing various accounting tasks with precision. They use industry-specific accounting software and do not expect to find anyone with experience, so they recommend we look for someone with experience with software more advanced than QuickBooks (Sage would be appropriate).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Utilize accounting software to record and track financial transactions.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
  • Use Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience with general ledger management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
