We are seeking an Accounting Manager/Supervisor for a construction company located in San Jose, California. The role involves managing financial operations, supervising accounting procedures, and conducting cost analysis. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team and will play a key role in maintaining the financial health and success of our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of customer credit applications to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Manage the maintenance of accurate customer credit records.

• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions to maintain good standing.

• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls.

• Review and support the completion of month-end closes.

• Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external stakeholders.

• Conduct detailed reviews and analysis of budgeting, forecasts, and cost analysis.

• Produce comprehensive reports, analysis, and presentations for management purposes.

• Provide support on special projects and initiatives as needed.

• Minimum of 5 years experience in an Accounting Manager/OR Finance Supervisor role within the construction/contractor industry

• Solid understanding of general accounting functions

• Proven experience in Excel

• Proficiency in auditing processes and procedures

• Strong experience with construction industry-specific accounting practices is crucial
