We are seeking an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Santa Cruz, California. This role will involve overseeing the entirety of our company's financial and accounting operations, including auditing, budgeting, financial planning, risk management, and regular financial reporting.

Responsibilities:
• Implementing and maintaining financial systems, strategies, and processes.
• Overseeing organizational budgeting, reporting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Monitoring and managing all expense reporting, ensuring correct allocation of funds.
• Analyzing complex financial data and providing strategies based on the financial analysis.
• Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax requirements and tax filings.
• Managing relationships with external auditors and conducting internal audits.
• Collaborating with senior management on strategic financial planning.
• Continually reviewing financial and operational performance against budget and objectives.
• Evaluating, developing, and maintaining the company's financial procedures and systems.
• Processing customer credit applications and maintaining accurate customer credit records.
• Performing account reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
• Handling accounts payable and receivable, as well as auditing and billing functions.
• Overseeing month-end close tasks.• Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within an Accounting department
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management
• Demonstrable experience in auditing processes and procedures
• Familiarity with billing functions within a corporate setting
• Proficiency in performing month-end close procedures
• Ability to carry out bank reconciliations with a high level of accuracy
• Experience in account reconciliation and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• High level of organization and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
