Tax & Accounting Manager Job at Robert Half in Warrenville

Robert Half is looking for a Tax and Accounting Manager for a public accounting firm in the western suburbs. The Tax and Accounting Manager, will provide outstanding personal service to a section of small business clientele. This role will supervise and review compilations, prepare and review tax filings (S corp, Partnership, 1040) and help our clients with ongoing tax planning. As a primary contact person, the Tax and Accounting Manager will provide exceptional personal service to clients in long-lasting working relationships.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a CPA firm working with small business
• Upbeat, confident and sunny personality
• CPA or strong CPA candidate preferred
• Experience with compilation engagements
• Experience with tax return prep for S Corps and individuals
• General knowledge of payroll taxes and filings required
• Must be computer savvy and experienced with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
• Experience with Creative Solutions software (UltraTax, etc.) is a huge plus
• Desire to learn and grow your professional skills
