Job Description:
The Accounting Clerk will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures. This position is perfect for someone with strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for working in a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Prepare and process invoices, credit memos, and customer statements
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Maintain organized and accurate filing systems for financial documents
- Support the finance team with data entry, bookkeeping, and reporting tasks
- Respond to vendor and customer inquiries regarding billing and payments
- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Bachelor degree in accounting or finance preferred
- Proven experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., Netsuite) is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
