SUMMARY
As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee the organization's financial operations, ensure the accuracy of financial reporting, and support strategic financial planning. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
· Budgeting & Forecasting: Provide regular forecasts and variance analyses to assist in developing and monitoring the annual budget.
· Cost Management: Analyze and control costs to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
· Product Costing: Analyze and monitor production costs to ensure accurate manufacturing results.
· Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the finance team, promoting best practices and professional development.
· Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
· Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analyses to support decision-making and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
· Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
· 7-10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
· Manufacturing experience and cost accounting experience.
· Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
· Knowledge of payroll and 401k programs.
· Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP strongly preferred.
· Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
