Position Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)

Job Description:
The Accounting/Bookkeeper will manage a variety of financial tasks, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information. The ideal candidate will have experience in QuickBooks and a strong background in accounting practices relevant to the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update the company’s checkbooks and financial records.
  • Prepare and send invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Track and categorize expenses, reconciling discrepancies as needed.
  • Process payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Support monthly and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain organized financial files and documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers to monitor budgets and costs.
  • Perform general office tasks, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
