RELOCATION NOT PROVIDED

Administers bank accounts, including online portals, positive pay, fraud prevention, user access and other areas as required. Calculates, classifies, records, and verifies data for use in maintaining accounting records. Performs bookkeeping functions associated with accounts receivable, deposits, cash, accounts payable, disbursements, debt, real estate taxes, insurance, and bank reconciliations. Must be capable of performing duties with limited supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Administers bank accounts, including online portals, positive pay, fraud prevention, user access and other areas as required.

• Verifies and posts details of business transactions in accounting system (Yardi Voyager).

• Prepares checks, account statements, reports, and other records, and reviews for accuracy.

• Extracts general ledger information.

• Reconciles report discrepancies and problems.

• Codes data for input to financial data processing system according to company procedures.

• Reviews, balances, and interprets reports, and makes corrections.

• Prepare and maintain audit work papers and account analysis on an ongoing basis.

• Help prepare financial reports and spreadsheets as requested.

• Maintain an organized filing system for all accounting documents.

• Review invoices for accuracy and approval and process as required.

• Prepare and record deposits.

• Process month end reports and check for accuracy.

• Reviews error reports and makes corrections.

• Responds to inquiries regarding transactions or reports.

• Process accounts payable checks, stop payments, voids and related reports.

• Complete Journal entries.

• Reconcile bank statements.

• Other duties as assigned.


Education and/or Experience

Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or five years of accounting experience and/or training.
