We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Clerk with 2-5 years of experience in accounting functions and proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel. The Accounting Clerk will play an integral role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the accounting team to ensure efficient operations. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process and post daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries in SAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable and receivable balances, and other general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and verify invoices, expense reports, purchase orders, and related documentation.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing reports, financial statements, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial transactions and supporting documents.
- Compile data and generate financial reports using SAP and Excel to support management and audit requirements.
- Assist with audits by preparing documentation and reports as requested by auditors.
- Monitor and respond to accounting-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

- **Education:** Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
- **Experience:** 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and formulas required).
- **Knowledge:** Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices.
- **Attention to Detail:** Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
- **Communication:** Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- **Organizational Skills:** Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

**Additional Preferred Qualifications:**

- Knowledge of other accounting software or systems.
- Experience in an industry relevant to the company.
