As an Accounting Associate, you will play a pivotal role in our finance team. Under direct or general supervision, you will perform essential routine to complex technical and administrative accounting duties, which include handling accounts payable, conducting account reconciliations, generating sales reports, and managing general accounting and bookkeeping functions.

Challenge Yourself - The Specifics:
- Performs a diverse range of administrative and technical support tasks about accounts payable, including but not limited to recording and reconciling bills, proactively resolving discrepancies with vendors, and maintaining accurate vendor records
- Manages vendor records and ensures compliance with vendor 1099 statuses through regular audits
- Downloads and reconciles daily bank transactions, as well as reconciles monthly bank statements to maintain accurate financial records
- Develops and maintains standard operating procedure documents to streamline daily workflow
- Assists in month-end and year-end closing procedures by managing various ledgers, registers, and spreadsheets in accordance with established accounting policies and procedures
- Drives the preparation of various monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including commissions and royalties. Ensures that all deadlines are met in accordance with the closing dates set by management.
- Supports audit preparation efforts and provides necessary documentation
- Handles ad hoc accounting projects and tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in managing workload
- Effectively utilizes Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite applications, and the company’s ERP system
General Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or experience in a financial environment or equivalent combination of experience or equivalent training and experience
- Minimum of 1-3 years of accounting or related field, with knowledge of basic accounting and accounting transactions
- QuickBooks, Excel, and/or IFS experience is a plus
- Prior accounting internship experience preferred but not required
