Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Accounting Manager to join Ray America. The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department
- Managing, reviewing and approving Finance Departments’ Journal Entries
- Monitoring and analyzing the financial data
- Assisting Controller to prepare financial reports and/or financial statements for the company
- Reviewing and analyzing the corporate tax return
- Reviewing and analyzing sales tax transactions
- In-charge of internal and external audits
- Preparing and drafting performance reports for the Parent Company
- In-charge of month end, quarter end, and year end closings
- Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Working on ad-hoc projects assigned by the Controller
- Lead, mentor, and manage the accounting team, promoting a culture of professionalism and excellence.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 5 years in a management role.
- Strong understanding of accounting knowledge & US GAAP.
- Proficiency in Excel (V-lookup, Pivot Table is mandatory).
- Close attention to detail
- Bilingual in English & Korean required
- Strong ability to analyze information.
- Extensive experience with SAP Biz One preferred
- Experience working in the US branch of a listed company in Korea is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
