Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Accounting Manager to join Ray America. The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department
  • Managing, reviewing and approving Finance Departments’ Journal Entries
  • Monitoring and analyzing the financial data
  • Assisting Controller to prepare financial reports and/or financial statements for the company
  • Reviewing and analyzing the corporate tax return
  • Reviewing and analyzing sales tax transactions
  • In-charge of internal and external audits
  • Preparing and drafting performance reports for the Parent Company
  • In-charge of month end, quarter end, and year end closings
  • Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
  • Working on ad-hoc projects assigned by the Controller
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the accounting team, promoting a culture of professionalism and excellence.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting knowledge & US GAAP.
  • Proficiency in Excel (V-lookup, Pivot Table is mandatory).
  • Close attention to detail
  • Bilingual in English & Korean required
  • Strong ability to analyze information.
  • Extensive experience with SAP Biz One preferred
  • Experience working in the US branch of a listed company in Korea is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
