Job Details
Position overview: The Cost Accounting Manager, reporting to the Controller, will be responsible for the accounting and reporting of all revenue related to inventory, production cost, operations.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Cost reconciliation reports
- Sales, production, and profitability reports
- Inventory valuation and reconciliations
- Monitor and track inventory transactions
- SIOP reporting
- Provide analysis and business advise to reduce costs
- Develop financial models
- Budget and forecasting
- Work with inventory, operations, production, and purchasing
- FAR, CAS, and DFARS reporting
- Participate in pricing and proposal writing
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- 5+ years accounting experience
- 2+ years accounting leadership experience
- Cost accounting
- Inventory analysis
- Manufacturing industry
- Government contracting experience
- FAR, CAS, and DFARS regulations knowledge
- Aerospace industry
- CPA or other advanced degrees
