MPB Hotel LLC is hiring: SENIOR ACCOUNTING MANAGER in Lake Worth

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to support our hotel’s financial goals by ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of accounting-related information. This role is critical in maintaining our financial integrity and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile General Ledger accounts, review discrepancies and problematic accounts, and guide staff to follow up on such accounts.
• Prepare Monthly Journal Entries and assist with the preparation of Financial Reports
• Assist in review and implementation of internal financial controls including purchasing, cash handling, disbursements, inventories, hotel assets, and payroll.
• Monitor hotel revenues and expenses ensuring accurate records in accordance with established guidelines. Review for variances elated to budget and forecasts.
• Assist in compilation and preparation of the annual budget, forecasts, taxes, and other financial reports to provide support, and ensure accuracy and timely reporting information for management.
• Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations, and delivering recognition and reward.
• Complies with Standard Accounting policies and procedures and internal controls for finance and accounting operations.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
