Job Description: Accounting Advisor

As an advisor, you will collaborate with your accounting team and lead client relationships and deliverables. General Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for company's relationships with your clients by ensuring our services and solutions are delivered in alignment with each client's objectives and key strategies
Uses their in-depth analytical skills to help executives understand the financial health of the organization for improved decision making.
Lead, manage and conduct clear communication with our clients in all aspects of reporting, budgeting, forecasting and controllership finances.
Partner and lead your accounting team for adhering to GAAP and closing books on time and bookings are in the correct GL.
Produce cash flow budgeting and analysis for clients and work with team in preparing standardized cash flow reporting and forecasting
Work alongside the team to assist and lead other projects that may benefit the firm internally or client projects.
Assess each clients Company performance through benchmarking to competitors, identifying the key KPI’s identifying best practices and business process analysis
Work with other advisors on best practices and share collaboratively across clients.
Oversee and manage all weekly and monthly financial close of our clients, including but not limited to weekly, monthly, and fiscal close, internal and external reporting and report preparation.
Prepare monthly sales tax filings and work closely with the outside CPA firms and auditors as required.
Review and sign off on all financial reports that leave the office and before sending to your clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of science in Business or Accounting
CPA / MBA preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in the areas of accounting, treasury, and financial statement preparation and in supervisory positions
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in internal or external client management
Experience in implementing procedures to ensure proper internal controls in the finance area
Excellent knowledge technology platforms
Experience and/or familiarity with the food industry
Detail oriented with excellent record keeping and organizational skills
Ability to multitask, work under pressure, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Great communication skills and enthusiasm for client service
