Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial strategy, planning, and analysis to support organizational growth and sustainability
- Manage annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
- Oversee accounting, finance, and audit functions, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including audits and tax filings (Form 990)
- Provide financial insights and reports to the Board of Directors and leadership team
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and optimize resources
- Partner with program leaders to align financial practices with mission objectives
- Support grant management and donor relations, ensuring proper tracking of restricted funds
- Lead and mentor a small finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role, preferably within a non-profit organization
- Strong knowledge of non-profit accounting principles (GAAP), budgeting, and financial reporting
- Experience with grants, restricted funding, and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and Board of Directors
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.G., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct) and Microsoft Office Suite
