About the Role
As Senior Accounting Analyst, you'll provide first-class finance support to our organization by providing accurate and insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for preparing financial statements, conducting variance analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and budgeting.
Responsibilities
* Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
* Overseeing the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
* Reviewing and reconciling accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations
* Providing guidance and support to junior accounting staff
* Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices
* Maintaining a strong understanding of accounting standards
* Participating in audits and ensuring compliance withinternal controls and policies
Requirements
* Have excellent analytical thinking skills, an eye for continuous improvement and be focused on successful end results
* Show outstanding stakeholder management skills with clear communication skills and the ability to build rapport and influence
* Have solid MS Excel skills and the ability to work with large data sets
* Demonstrate proven business partnering skills with sound knowledge and understanding of accounting and principals
* Have good experience as a Finance Business Analyst and be a CPA or studying towards a CPA
