This position reports directly to the Office Manager. This job requires assisting with performing and overseeing the accounting functions. This positions compensation is determined by the amount of experience associated with previous office experience, AP, AR, financial statements and other accounting functions. Any experience in Payroll, HR, PR and benefits coordinating a plus.

Responsibilities
Must be able to work Monday thru Friday schedule till 7 Pm and rotating Saturdays 9-6
- Upholding policies and procedures.
- Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
- Maximizes return and limits risk on cash by minimizing bank balances and making investments.
- Oversee Accounts Payable/ Receivable
- Posting Journal Entries
- Overall Office Support
- Data Entry
- Assist Customer Needs
- Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
- Monitors all posted documents, including time records, vehicle deals, commissions, and additions and changes to inventory.
- Ensure the timely and accurate reporting of all monthly financial statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close.
- Reconcile/oversee all accounts prior to month end.
- Review Accounting Schedules weekly and prior to month end for financial statement accuracy.
- Yearly renewal of all dealer and other licensing as required by state laws.
- Assist AP/AR Clerk in posting daily bank activity when needed.
- Incentive collections and reconciliations.
- Coding and posting of all reserve statements, dealer holdback, wholesale reserve, delivery allowance, MCB reports and TFS payments.
- Stock in and purchase in all used vehicles.
- Coding and posting of all Finance reserve statements.
- Monitoring and submitting of floorplan payoffs.
- Reconcile customer deposits, contracts in transit and vehicle receivable accounts.
- Actively involved in the cross training of business office employees
- All rental car responsibilities are included in this position.
- Assisting finance with sending car deals off to the bank, payoffs, finalizing deals.
- Vehicle warranty submissions and monthly payments
- Ford reporting's
- Title paperwork processing
- Qualifications
- Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent, College Degree Beneficial.
- Experience Required: 1 to 2 years in an Office or Accounting Setting Preferred.
- Multi line phone skills
- Strong Multi-tasking
- Bi-Lingual a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Possess good computer skills
- Team player attitude
- Customer service oriented
- Excellent follow through skills.
