JOB DESCRIPTION
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing key financial processes, including payroll, accounts payable, and expense management. This role will also prepare weekly KPIs, manage compliance with our Line of Credit, and coordinate with an outsourced accounting group for monthly financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in the healthcare industry, and a proactive approach to remote work.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Outsourced Accounting Oversight: Collaborate with the outsourced accounting group to ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Expense Reimbursement: Review and manage employee expense reimbursements, ensuring compliance with company policies and efficient processing.
- Clinic-Level Expense Tracking: Maintain a comprehensive clinic-level expense tracker to monitor spending, support budget management, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Payroll Management: Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payments for all employees, including clinical and administrative staff.
- Weekly KPI Preparation: Compile and analyze weekly financial KPIs, providing actionable insights to the leadership team on metrics such as revenue, expense trends, and operational performance.
- Line of Credit Compliance: Maintain compliance with Line of Credit agreements by preparing and submitting accurate monthly financial reports to lenders.
- Accounts Payable (A/P) Management: Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely payments to vendors and resolution of any discrepancies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the healthcare or ABA therapy industry.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and experience managing A/P.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and familiarity with ABA billing platforms (e.g., CentralReach).
- Excellent analytical skills with experience in preparing and interpreting financial reports and KPIs.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work remotely and collaborate with external partners.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining compliance and financial integrity.
