Organization Overview: The Goddard Riverside Community Center (Goddard Riverside) and the Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center (Isaacs Center) are well-established Manhattan community-based agencies that support services to approximately 30,000 New Yorkers. Position Summary: The Grants Supervisor will oversee all grants/funding contracts and supervise all grants accountants with the support of the Controller.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Salary Range: $130,000- $145,000
Candidates must have the required qualifications to be considered for the position. The salary offer will be based on the candidate's number of years experience in the exact or comparable position and additional preferred qualifications will be taken into account.

Roles, Responsibilities, and Essential Duties
- Tracks and monitors all grant status (billing and collection, budget modifications, amendments, renewal etc.)
- Collaborate with Director of Contract Compliance and Quality Assurance on the status of all contract funding
- Collaborate with the Director of External Affairs related to the status of Discretionary funding
- Supervise all program accountants, review their work for accuracy
- Meet with the programs monthly and quarterly or more, as needed, with the support of the Controller to review where programs are in terms of their spending and billing against their budgets
- Works with the Controller and CFO on annual internal budget process
- Prepare and submit CFR
- Supervises the recording of all electronic payments for the grants in the assigned portfolio
- Monitor, input, review all grant data in the required City/State/Federal portal and system
- Serve as a liaison with principals and other departments on issues regarding grants.
- Ensure grant accountants provide financial projections by coordinating budget/forecast preparation; collecting, analyzing information; advising departments on the collection and analysis of data
- Ensure program accountants work proactively with program staff to understand needs and changes in the program's operations, and initiate all budget modifications based on that discussion
- Review journal entries and account analysis for assigned contracts as part of the monthly financial close
- Conduct periodic meetings with department heads to review budgets, year to date expenses, projections and other program matters
- Coordinate grant compliance and reporting responsibilities with Finance, Human Resources and Programs including program outcome data and fiscal reports
- Prepare and maintain various tracking schedules such as billing, budget registration, receivables and others as needed by upper management
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, including cash flow projections
- Serve as a key point of contact with funders, and develop and coordinate all requests in a timely manner
- Assist in the development of responses to RFP submissions including budget and budget narrative preparation
- Ensure compliance with the rules and regulations administered by the grantor, assists in all audits, including the preparation of all required schedules
- Participate as Finance Staff Member by attending staff meetings and training programs; collaborate on tasks and make suggestions for improvement
- Oversee proper cost segregation and allocation of cost
- Ensure compliance with the Uniform Guidance
- Perform other duties as required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, or 5 years' experience in supervision.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in related field
- Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting
- Knowledge of grant processing including federal, state and local government laws and regulations regarding grant administration including the Uniform Guidance
- Working knowledge of government contracts.
- Superior attention to detail and the ability to analyze data and then communicate the results in a concise manner
- Ability to effectively handle multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to work extended hours during close, audit periods and other critical times
- Ability to work with interruptions and tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and to be self-reliant while still working effectively in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize and take ownership of work
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
- Working knowledge of Intacct and government portals
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
- Prior experience with NYC PASSport a plus
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
