Job Description
We are seeking a highly competent and experienced individual to fill the position of Director of Shared Services in our dynamic organization. The ideal Director of Shared Services candidate will lead and manage the operations and services of four critical departments; Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Payroll. This Director of Shared Services position is aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, standardizing processes and implementing best practices across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, oversee, and manage the operations of the shared service functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Payroll.
- Develop and implement strategies and objectives that align with the broader goals and mission of the organization.
- Ensure all financial operations within these functions follow industry standards and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of operations and reduce costs.
- Develop positive relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Report on the performance of the shared service functions to senior management regularly.
- Set, monitor, and manage service level agreements and key performance indicators to ensure the effectively performance of the shared service center.
- Train, guide and motivate a large team of professionals to deliver top-tier service and operational excellence.
- Manage and oversee the shared services center's budget, validate savings, minimize costs, and strive for efficiency.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, at least 2 leading a shared service function
• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Experience in shared services
• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
