ReGeneration Schools, founded in 2016, is a nationally ranked charter program with charter schools located in Illinois and Ohio. ReGeneration serves over 1,900 students, of whom 99% are minority and 86% are low income. U.S. News and World Report’s 2021 School Ranking listed all ReGeneration elementary schools among the top ten charter elementary schools in Illinois. Furthermore, ReGeneration was rated as the #1 gap busting network in Illinois in ELA and #3 in math by Stanford’s 2023 Credo Report. ReGeneration expanded to Ohio in 2019, opening its Bond Hill campus. ReGeneration added two more schools in Cincinnati in July 2023.

POSITION
The Associate Director of Operations reports to the Director of Operations and assists in the management of day-to-day campus operations, ensures compliance, and contributes to maintaining a safe, organized, and effective school environment. This role will take ownership of specific operational areas, such as inventory management, technology infrastructure, and event coordination, while also assisting with broader operational initiatives.
Responsibilities 1.
School Operations Support
Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement, distribution, and tracking of school supplies, furniture, and equipment, ensuring all resources are readily available and appropriately stored.
Facility Upkeep: Coordinate with vendors for repairs, maintenance, and cleanliness of school facilities, supporting the Director of Operations in ensuring an excellent physical environment.
Technology Management: Work with the IT team to maintain and troubleshoot the campus technology infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations for instructional and administrative needs.
Visitor and Event Logistics: Manage visitor protocols, assist in the coordination of board meetings, and facilitate the logistics of school events and community engagement activities.
2. Student and Staff Support
Recruitment and Enrollment: Support student recruitment efforts by organizing outreach activities and maintaining a directory of community organizations for potential student engagement.
Scheduling: Assist in developing schedules for students, teachers, and classrooms, including coverage schedules for activities like lunch, tutoring, and school events.
Food Service Coordination: Oversee daily meal logistics, including scheduling and distribution, and work with food service vendors to manage accounts and ensure compliance with free and reduced lunch guidelines.
3. Compliance and Reporting
Student Records Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy and compliance of student records, including immunization records, lunch applications, and other documentation.
Compliance Coordination: Collaborate with the Director of Operations to monitor and report compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
Staff Records: Track attendance and manage staff professional development documentation.
4. Budget and Finance Support
Financial Transactions: Maintain records of specific financial transactions and support the purchasing process, including vendor communication, order tracking, and inventory management.
Budget Variance Review: Participate in quarterly budget review meetings to provide updates and support the financial auditing process.
All other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Education, Organizational Management).
Experience: At least 1-2 years in operations management; experience in a school setting is preferred.
Skills:
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks.
