Boulder GNC Water Well was established in 1974 and is the premiere water well service company in Northern Colorado. Sandborn Creek Partners purchased the company in 2024 and is currently looking to expand the team and grow the business.

Summary
Sandborn Creek Partners (dba Boulder GNC Water Well) is looking for a full-time, in-office accounting manager to join the team and take an integral role in building and shaping the accounting function. This role will report directly to Neal Pedersen and Jason Posner and will be responsible for building/documenting processes, managing the financials and weekly/monthly reporting, as well as ad hoc projects. There will be resources to assist with data entry, however the right candidate will need strong attention to detail to reconcile accounts, prepare necessary journal entries, and filing/paying tax obligations. Ability/desire to learn is key. This role will be dynamic and designed for long-term growth with the company and to be part of the management team.

Duties/Tasks:
• Bi-weekly Payroll
• Vendor Check Runs (minimum monthly, max twice per month), including landlord/debtor obligations
• Weekly AP/AR Reviews
• Monthly account reconciliations (Bank, Credit Cards, etc.)
• Monthly Reporting – P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Variance Reporting (TBD), Synopsis
• Taxes – Sales Tax (Monthly/Quarterly), Payroll Taxes (Weekly), Other Quarterly/Annual Filings
• Managing Wholesale Entity

Monthly invoicing
Account reconciliation
Taxes

• Bank Covenant Reporting
• Key Customer Billing
• Ad Hoc Projects

Key Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in accounting field
• 5-7+ years of experience
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Desire to learn new functions and be part of a fast-growing team
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• QuickBooks experience a plus

Key Details
• Salary Range $70k - $80k/yr
