Accounting Administrator Job at Sure Good Foods Ltd. in Mississauga

Position Summary:

The responsibilities of this role are to assist in the day to day accounting processes for the organization in an accurate, efficient and timely manner and to provide administrative support.

Position Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable

• Data entry of accounts payable invoices and attaching PDF documents to files
• Filing of invoices and files (both hardcopies and electronic)
• Prepare and issue payments to vendors (EFT, Wire, Cheque, Credit Card)
• Assist with vendor inquiries via emails and phone calls
• Employee expense report reconciliation and entry
• Vendor statement of account reconciliation
• Quarterly vendor audits

Accounts Receivable

• Contact all customers for balances past due with continued follow up until resolved
• Follow up on deductions and overpayments
• Monitor past due accounts
• Provide backup support for posting of customer deposits in various accounts and currencies
• Resolve accounts receivable discrepancies
• Posting of bank fees, approved customer credits
• Keeping detailed notes in ERP related to A/R balances
• Other duties as assigned by management or Senior Leadership

This position will require additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by SGF.

Requirements:

• College Diploma, in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent
• Previous experience with Accounts Receivable and/or Payable (invoicing, cheque runs, data entry, customer service) in a high-volume environment an asset
