InfoTran Engineers & Architects,P.C. is hiring: Accounting Assistant in East

Our expanding business is seeking a full-time motivated Accounting Assistant who is looking to grow with the company. INFOTRAN values its culture and creating a positive work atmosphere, making it a highly desirable workplace that is supportive and encouraging of professional growth.

General responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Process vendor invoices accurately and ensure proper coding and approvals. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Perform credit card reconciliations. Ensuring all back up/receipts has been collected, coded and scanned into the system.
• Maintaining all records and filing.
• Assist with processing bi-weekly payroll. Follow up with employees and collect all timesheets.
• Prepare monthly invoices for various clients.
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger and ensure all payments are properly applied.
• Employee benefits management. Expense management and reimbursement.
• Assist in the annual audit and other regulatory audits that occur during the year.
• Assist management with special projects and ad-hoc analyses.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
• Minimum Associate’s degree in accounting. A Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable.
• 1-2 years of related experience, preferably in an Engineering/Architectural or other Professional Services Company.
• 1-2 years QuickBooks Contractors or Enterprise experience.
• 1-2 years experience with ADP Workforce now Payroll/benefits etc.
• Strong MS-Excel and MS-Word skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
• Good analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and have the ability to multi-task.
