We're looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to join our ever-evolving Corporate Accounting team to help us unleash the potential of every business. Are you ready to make your mark? Then you sound like a Worldpayer. About the team The Accounts Payable (AP) Manager will be in a key leadership position within the Worldpay Corporate Accounting organization. This team manages the Global AP team, resolves AP transactional issues, escalations, and emergencies, and collaborates with key stakeholders to implement and improve AP processes. The team also handles the AP/Treasury Trax transition, facilitates manual and special payment requests, and develops AP documentation standards, processes, controls, and SOPs. What you'll own Manage the Global AP team. Lead resolution for AP transactional issues, escalations, and emergencies. Collaborate with key stakeholders (P2P team, Sourcing, Treasury, IT, and Business) to implement & improve AP processes. Manage AP/Treasury Trax transition and liaison with internal and external teams. Facilitate manual payment, special payment requests, and approvals. Develop AP documentation standards, processes, controls, and SOPs. Lead functional requirements for AP enhancements. Develop weekly and monthly metric reporting for AP. Respond and analyze ad hoc AP reporting requests. Respond to audit queries and reconciliations. Contribute towards Global AP best practices and standard processes. Assist in month-end close process and produce KPI and performance metrics. What you bring Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Minimum 3 years of experience in AP management roles in multinational companies. Experience working with reporting tools and systems (Oracle, Trax, HFM, QlikView, Excel). Excellent skills in communicating ideas verbally and in written form clearly, concisely, and professionally, with all levels, including presentations. Strong working knowledge of leading a global Accounts Payable team. Strong organizational, team building, coaching, and mentoring skills for entry-level employees and third-party contractor teams. General business skills, industry knowledge, accounting principles, and the Procure to Pay process. Ability to identify, address, and resolve employee-related issues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the use of Excel. Ability to utilize judgment in decision-making processes related to job tasks. Skill in productivity, planning, and workload management. Ability to design, document, and implement process improvements.
