Senior Tax & Accounting Manager CPA

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting
  • Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for Individuals, S & C-Corporations, Consolidated C-Corporations, Partnerships, LLC’s, Trusts, Estates and Non-Profit entities.
  • Ability to perform compilation and review engagements including preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Perform advanced level tax research projects and compose comprehensive memoranda.
  • Apply functional knowledge to understand potential tax issues and participate in tax planning.
  • Deliver high quality tax service and advice when contacting and advising clients.
  • Work independently as well as within a team, and multi-task several projects efficiently.
  • Act as project manager for special projects at the request of the management team.
  • Manage, mentor, and train staff associates within the practice.
  • Develop and edit correspondence, memoranda, and other client deliverables as needed.
  • Participate in networking and business development activities on behalf of the firm.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Further Requirements and Information:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or related field.
  • 5+ years of Tax experience in public accounting.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or current candidate.
  • USA work authorization
  • Proficient with tax preparation and workflow software including Prosystem fx Tax (Preferred), Sage/Peachtree, QuickBooks Online, strong Excel skills.
  • Proficient with tax research software including BNA.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong research and oral and written communication skills, and ability to articulate complex information.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and manage your client service team.
  • Ability to consistently exercise good judgment in dealing with a variety of situations and issues.

Starting Salary, Increases and Bonuses commensurate with experience and performance.
