Position Summary
We are seeking an Accounting Operations & Compliance Specialist (T&E and Escheatment) to join our growing team.
The primary purpose of this position is to support the Homeowner Services Accounts Payable functions for processing accurate, timely, and compliant transactions; travel and expense reimbursements; purchasing card; and unclaimed property.
This role is responsible for managing the corporate purchasing card program and unclaimed property processes. The successful candidate will administer the corporate purchasing card program and corporate travel on our Brex platform, ensuring compliance of usage and travel policies. The position is not responsible for booking travel for associates. They will issue new cards, handle cancellations, and resolve decline issues and fraud alerts. The position involves participating in audits, monitoring controls, and reviewing/auditing employee expense reimbursements. Additionally, the role oversees unclaimed property processes, including tracking using specialized software, performing due diligence, and submitting state filings. The incumbent will prepare reports, recommend improvements, and reconcile sub-ledger accounts to the general ledger. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders are essential for success in this position.
This role is based in Naperville, IL office. A regular in-office hybrid model (generally T-Th in office, M&F remote) is required, as our office environment is a key driver of our company culture and employee experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to lead/maintain unclaimed property initiatives, oversee/administer the corporate purchasing card program, validate transactions, reconcile general ledger accounts, metric/ad hoc reporting and provide problem analysis and workflow status resolution. Assist with ensuring all Accounts Payable’s transactions are processed in accordance with GAAP, SOX, regulatory and tax policies, and internal policy and procedures. Deliver excellent customer service to Accounts Payable’s internal clients and external customers. Perform other tasks as assigned under the direction of Treasury management. Additionally, this position works closely with the company’s treasury, accounting, claims, procurement, customer support and IT departments, and reports to the Treasury Supervisor.

Experience and Qualifications of the Role
- 3+ years related/professional work experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Certified Purchasing Card Professional (CPCP) certification or other Corporate Card certification a plus.
- Must be experienced enough to work independently (with minimum supervision) multi-task and have a collaborative work style with strong desire to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment that requires flexibility and ability to manage multiple priorities.

- ERP (e.g., Oracle, etc.) -- basic proficiency.
- Experience with Company Purchase Card Platforms (Brex, Navan etc.)
- Experience with TrackerPro/Ryan Software for Unclaimed Property.
