About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance and Accounting to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations, including treasury, cash management, A/R, A/P, invoicing, payroll, and financial dashboards. This role involves managing a team through the month-end close process, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and analysis. The VP will also be tasked with directing the cost accounting function, establishing and maintaining internal controls, and working closely with the financial planning and analysis team on reporting and budgeting. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA and a strong background in public accounting. A minimum of 13 years' of progressive accounting and finance experience is required, with a focus on the manufacturing industry and experience in a private equity-backed environment with M&A. The role demands a candidate with a deep understanding of GAAP, and experience with various accounting software systems. The ideal candidate will be adept at leading financial operations, spearheading process improvements, and have a proven track record in post-acquisition integrations and modernizing the accounting function.
