Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Senior Associate for our Client Accounting & Advisory Service team in the Finance industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing expert financial advice and solutions to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of financial matters, from journal entries and account reconciliations to trend analysis and performance metrics. The role offers a chance to work with a dynamic team of professionals, and to contribute to the success of our clients and our firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute monthly close procedures and deliverables in compliance with GAAP
  • Prepare and reconcile various financial statements, including consolidated income statements and balance sheets
  • Understand and apply GAAP and accounting standards to basic financial statements
  • Calculate, interpret, and communicate KPIs from clients' financial statements, identifying positive and constructive trends
  • Plan and manage basic engagements, including on-boarding and client delivery phases, with an understanding of engagement economies
  • Support drafting proposals and other documents explaining proposed solutions for clients
  • Apply our processes, system, technology, and resources to manage workflow and ensure proper documentation of workpapers
  • Prepare schedules to support the client's audit preparation and tax compliance requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and the ability to apply accounting standards to basic financial statements
  • Proficient in preparing and reconciling various financial statements
  • Proven experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, trend analysis, and performance metrics
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret KPIs from clients' financial statements
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to draft proposals and other documents explaining proposed solutions for clients
  • Proficient in using various financial software and systems to manage workflow and ensure proper documentation of workpapers
  • Experience in preparing schedules to support audit preparation and tax compliance requirements.
