Position Overview:

The Executive Assistant is central to the efficient running of Residential Services through their direct support to the Vice President of Residential Programs and Support Services in carrying out their role and responsibilities; assurance that clerical and secretarial services are at a high standard across Residential Services as well as their professional representation of the organization. Their role includes but is not limited to maintaining assigned meeting minutes; oversight of UltiPro system for Residential Services; maintaining schedule of VP; providing direct supervision of assigned Sr. Administrative Assistant/s, secondary supervising 3-4 associated staff; as well as other tasks in support of residential programs and support services.

Position Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED and two (2) years secretarial/clerical experience OR Bachelor’s degree, required.
  • Minimum two years experience working in a child welfare setting, required.
  • Strong knowledge of MICROSOFT database development and other applications, required.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, patience and flexibility in working with others.
  • Strong ability to lead, develop and train others.
  • Excellent grammar and writing skills.
  • Pleasant personality and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Ability to interact directly and address youth, required.
