Job Description: Our client, a prestigious AM LAW 100 firm located in Los Angeles, is seeking an experienced and highly organized Legal Executive Assistant to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with 5 years of legal assistant experience at a mid- to large-sized law firm to work alongside senior attorneys in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys and legal teams, managing complex calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements. Draft, proofread, and revise legal documents, correspondence, and reports with accuracy and attention to detail. Organize and maintain files, both electronic and paper, ensuring that all materials are easily accessible and in compliance with firm policies. Handle client communications, responding to inquiries and ensuring that client needs are met in a timely and professional manner. Prepare and manage billing and time entry processes for assigned attorneys, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. Coordinate and assist with legal research, document preparation, and case management for litigation and transactional matters. Assist in the preparation of trial materials, including exhibits, discovery documents, and filings. Support team members and contribute to the efficient functioning of the practice group by managing tasks proactively and independently. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all dealings with clients, colleagues, and external contacts. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of legal assistant experience, ideally in a mid- to large-sized law firm environment. Strong understanding of legal terminology, legal procedures, and court rules. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and legal software (iManage, Relativity, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and staff. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality. A proactive, positive attitude with a strong work ethic and the ability to be a team player. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting senior partners and executives at a top-tier law firm. Familiarity with billing systems and legal project management tools. Knowledge of e-filing systems and court procedures.
