A Day in the Life as an Executive Sales Assistant

As an Executive Sales Assistant, you will provide administrative and operational support to the Director of Branch Operations and the sales team at Continental Girbau West (CGW). This role involves managing schedules, preparing reports, and facilitating communication between the sales team and clients. Other responsibilities to include:

  • Managing complex calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and vendor visits.
  • Assist and support the branch Director with administrative functions
  • Prepare and organize documents, presentations, and reports for internal and external meetings.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales forecasts, performance reports, and presentations.
  • Coordinate and organize sales meetings, conferences, and other events.
  • Support the sales team by updating the CRM (customer relationship management) system, tracking leads, and maintaining sales data accuracy.


What You Need

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in an administrative or executive assistant role, preferably within a sales or marketing department, in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong client-facing and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams
  • Strong follow-up and follow-through ability
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to accommodate and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Proficient in use of MS Office package including Word, Excel, Outlook (email/calendar), and PowerPoint
