Summary  

The employee will assist in several different facets of Dr. Shridharani’s day to day undertakings and tasks. The employee with be taking care of scheduling appointments and meetings, returning emails, booking flights/hotels, and accompanying Dr. Shridharani on various lectures and travel engagements. The employee will oversee LUXURGERY’s social media. Furthermore, the employee will be versatile and may be asked to be involved with non-medical care of patients within the office. Finally, the employee will perform personal assistant tasks that will often require working off site and performing various errands. The employee functions under the direction, instruction and supervision of Sachin M. Shridharani, MD. 

Responsibilities as a Executive Assistant 

  1. Organizing and facilitating logistics for travel, meetings, entertainment, cultural, and sporting events. 
  2. Making reservations. 
  3. Shopping and other local errands. 
  4. Transcription of books, magazine materials, and dictations. 
  5. Online bill payments, correspondence and emailing. 
  6. Employee will perform any other duties/activities needed for the practice as determined by Dr. Shridharani. 
  7. Coordinates Dr. Shridharani’s travel and lecture schedule, and facilitates logistics related to marketing, physician out-reach, office maintenance, and administrative tasks such as post-office, bank, etc. 
  8. Has computer skills required for scheduling patients, maintaining electronic patient and business related charts, practice website, social media, receiving payment by credit card, cash, or check and online marketing efforts. 
  9. Practices honesty, dependability and confidentiality regarding all matters.  
  10. Works cooperatively with the other staff and providing care in that setting.  
  11. Accurately reports and records information.  
  12. Participates in office meeting as needed.  
  13. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.  
  14. Provide translation assistance for patients and website documentation. 
  15. Transcribes dictations. 
  16. The employee will be available to fulfill all responsibilities on Monday-Sunday. 

Responsibilities for the Practice 

  1. Answers incoming calls.  
  2. Greets and directs patients upon arrival to all Sachin M. Shridharani’s offices – present and in future. 
  3. Has computer skills required for scheduling patients, maintaining electronic patient and business related charts, practice website, social media, receiving payment by credit card, cash, or check and online marketing efforts. 
  4. Enters patient demographic and insurance data as directed. 
  5. Posts payments by patients and insurance companies as required by specific offices.  
  6. Practices honesty, dependability and confidentiality regarding all patient matters.  
  7. Works cooperatively with the other staff and providing care in that setting.  
  8. Accurately reports and records patient information.  
  9. Participates in office meeting as needed.  
  10. Facilitates during surgery and procedures with equipment and supplies ordering and prepping room and patient. 
  11. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.  
  12. Provide translation assistance for patients and website documentation. 
  13. Transcribes dictations. 

Qualifications 

Must be 18 years or older and able to read and write consistent with job requirements.   Has at least one year of front office experience. Shows evidence of fulfilling health requirements of the state of practice. Has a professional appearance and telephone skills.  

This is a non-exempt position.
