Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until the position is filled. Job purpose The Executive Director will oversee the strategic direction, administration, and daily operations of Norman Youth Soccer Association/Oklahoma Celtic Football Club (NYSA/OCFC). Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, this role involves managing all aspects of the club's programs, including recreational soccer, youth academy, competitive teams, referee coordination, collegiate placement, complex maintenance, and coaching education. The Executive Director will lead a team of program directors, ensure alignment with the club's mission, and work to enhance the quality and reputation of our programs locally and nationally. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Strategic Planning Develop and execute strategic initiatives to advance the club's mission and ensure long-term sustainability. Lead and mentor a team of program directors, including Boys' Director, Girls' Director, Recreational Director, Goalkeeper Director, Referee Director, and Complex Director. Inspire a shared vision throughout the club, aligning programs and staff with the organization's goals. Program Oversight and Development Manage and support the administration of the club's programs, including recreational soccer, youth academy, and competitive teams (ECNL-RL and OPL-Elite). Oversee the design and implementation of coaching education initiatives and development programs to ensure coaching quality and player development. Coordinate and support the annual tryout processes, master training schedules, and player registration. Operations and Facility Management Ensure the effective maintenance and operation of the Gillis-Rother Soccer Complex. Recruit and hire all technical and administrative staff, in conjunction with appropriate program Directors and Board of Directors as applicable. Establish and streamline employment and administrative policies and procedures for all club functions and day-to day operations. Community and Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the primary representative and spokesperson of NYSA/OCFC, fostering strong relationships with players, parents, coaches, partners, and the local community. Collaborate with local government, community leaders, and club partners to enhance the club's visibility and impact. Promote the club's programs and initiatives to strengthen brand awareness and community support. Business Development and Financial Management Identify and secure new revenue streams through sponsorships, fundraising, partnerships, and events. Create and manage the club's budget, ensuring financial resources are used effectively to support growth and sustainability. Work closely with the Board of Directors to set financial goals and monitor progress. Required 1-5 years of experience as a Director or Executive Director, preferably in a youth soccer or sports management setting. Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and retain a strong coaching team. Strong understanding of the youth soccer landscape, both locally and nationally. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with players, parents, staff, and community stakeholders. Proven organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with local club soccer dynamics and strong connections with leaders in the soccer community. Availability to work evenings and weekends as required. Preferred Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field. 5 years of experience as a Director or Executive Director, preferably in a youth soccer or sports management setting. 10 years of high-level youth soccer coaching experience.
