About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its hospice program. The successful candidate will be tasked with implementing and upholding the company's policies and mission, ensuring the program's long-term fiscal viability, and leading all aspects of the hospice, including staffing, budgeting, and marketing. This role requires a hands-on approach to maintain appropriate staffing levels, meet set standards and goals, and foster a culture of growth and excellence within the home health and hospice environment. Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, a minimum of 8 years' of healthcare administration experience, and at least 3 years' in hospice operations management. The role demands a leader with a strong background in budgetary responsibilities, a broad knowledge of federal and state regulations, and outstanding managerial, organizational, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will also have local market experience and be adept at problem-solving, decision-making, and assertiveness. Responsibilities include overseeing the general management of hospice operations, developing and monitoring the annual branch budget, and ensuring the program's growth by expanding the client base. The Executive Director will also be involved in staff and clinician recruitment, as well as partnering with clinical resources to assess and meet patient needs.
