About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead one of its senior living communities. The successful candidate will be the community leader, with a primary focus on creating a warm, compassionate, and secure atmosphere that promotes the independence and activity of all residents. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial, human resource, and operations management of the community, with the ultimate goal of maintaining a profitable operation. The Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing all community operations and departments, including resident care, business office, sales, culinary, housekeeping, activities, and maintenance. Building strong relationships with residents and families is also a key aspect of the position. Applicants for the Executive Director role at the company's senior living community should have a minimum of three years of previous management experience in the senior housing industry, with a preference for a college degree. Advanced computer skills, excellent communication, a desire to work with senior adults, and strong leadership abilities are essential. The role requires the ability to solve complex operational and people problems, as well as experience in leading large teams across multiple departments. The Executive Director will be expected to work closely with the Sales and Marketing Director to achieve full occupancy and to develop and manage the community's budget effectively. A valid driver's license and the willingness to obtain state administrator's certification are also necessary for this position.
