About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of supporting youth mental health and well-being. The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader with a strategic and operational skill set, responsible for the day-to-day operations, including grantmaking, and will serve as the external ambassador, representing the organization to various partners. This role requires a leader who can guide change efforts in the youth mental health landscape, ultimately leading to more positive outcomes for young people. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board to develop and execute the organization's vision, manage a high-performing team, and build strong, authentic relationships within the community. A deep understanding of youth mental health, applied philanthropy, and a commitment to the organization's values are essential. Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role within the mental health and/or family philanthropy sectors, with a proven track record of leadership, team management, and relationship management. The role demands a strategic thinker with the ability to unify staff and the Board, and the capacity to identify, develop, and maintain strategic relationships. The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker, a creative problem-solver, and an open and honest communicator. Experience in grantmaking and family philanthropy, aligned with the values of the organization, is a key requirement, as is a strong commitment to the vision and values of the Board. The Executive Director will be expected to lead the vision and strategic development processes, ensure the organization's operations comply with relevant laws, and be adept at managing financial resources effectively.
