About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Clinical Quality and Patient Safety. The successful candidate will provide focused leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and the development of patient safety strategies. This role involves overseeing quality programs for both inpatient and outpatient care, aligning workflows with national standards, and managing performance improvement initiatives. The Executive Director will also be responsible for strategic planning in areas such as infection control, data management, and accreditation, and will serve as a lead for various quality and patient safety requirements. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, system-wide quality objectives, and goal support are essential aspects of the position. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in nursing, a Master's degree in a healthcare-related field, and be a Certified Professional of Healthcare Quality or willing to obtain certification within 3 years. A minimum of 5 years' of progressive supervisory experience, with a strong background in the specialty area of practice, is required. The role demands excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to lead and manage teams effectively. The Executive Director will be expected to demonstrate current knowledge of national quality initiatives, trends, and issues, and to actively participate in performance improvement activities across the system. Professional collaboration with multiple service lines and external healthcare delivery partnerships is also a key leadership capability.
