About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of empowering women and families through artisan enterprise. The successful candidate will be a servant leader, responsible for leading local staff and partnering with global and local artisans to create products that not only appeal to a broad retail customer base but also provide purposeful work opportunities. This role involves equipping and inspiring artisans, as well as engaging with donors, funders, and partners to extend the organization's reach. The Executive Director will also work closely with the Board of Directors to execute the strategic plan and establish data-driven metrics of success. Candidates for the Executive Director position should embody the organization's mission, demonstrating a deep commitment to the work and community. Visionary and strategic leadership, particularly in the context of nonprofit management, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in innovative fundraising, strong financial management skills, and the ability to effectively manage a diverse team. Experience in nonprofit management, retail, and/or sales management is preferred, as is a background in working with individuals who have experienced trauma. The role requires a leader who can build strong, trusting relationships, and who is dedicated to the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
