About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director, LNFA to oversee the operation of a skilled nursing facility in compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the facility's adherence to the Patients' Bill of Rights, maintaining optimal patient care and a safe environment, and managing the facility's budget and financial records. Essential functions include directing the implementation of policies and procedures, recruiting and training staff, and representing the facility in dealings with outside agencies. The role also involves maintaining community relations, overseeing quality assurance committee meetings, and serving as a role model for a respectful and dignified working environment. Applicants for the Executive Director, LNFA position at the company must have a current and valid state Nursing Home Administrator license, with a thorough knowledge of applicable regulations. A BS/BA degree or equivalent experience in healthcare administration is preferred, along with a minimum of one year of experience in a similar leadership role. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to lead a team, and a commitment to the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Responsibilities also include ensuring the implementation of therapeutic, recreational, and rehabilitative programs, as well as the provision of all necessary ancillary services to meet the needs of the patients. The Executive Director will work closely with the medical director and director of nursing to approve and update policies and procedures and will be involved in the annual review of the disaster preparedness plan.
