Job Summary/Company: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cybersecurity and detection management. This role requires strong experience in designing and implementing data engineering solutions to protect sensitive data.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement data engineering solutions to support cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, ELT/ETL processes, and APIs to facilitate data flow and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with data policies and regulations.
  • Implement and manage security tools and technologies to protect sensitive data.
  • Monitor and analyze data sources for potential threats, including insider threats.
  • Develop and implement insider threat detection mechanisms and technologies.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on detection toolsets (e.g., Purview, Azure, MS Defender).

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, cybersecurity engineering, threat detection, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and threat detection methodologies.
  • Proficiency in configuring and maintaining security tools and technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical support and guidance.
