Position Overview: Blue Equinox is an IT consulting firm specializing in cybersecurity solutions. We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Account Managers to join our growing team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring our clients’ evolving cybersecurity needs are met, and driving high customer retention. You will also be expected to identify opportunities for account growth and expansion.
The ideal candidate is a customer-focused problem solver, with a passion for delivering exceptional service. You will play a pivotal role: educating clients, uncovering problems, and proposing tailored solutions to complex cybersecurity challenges.
This role is remote with the possibility of occasional (1-2 times per year) required travel to Nashville, TN.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement:
● Build Relationships:
Act as the primary point of contact, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
● Educate:
Inform clients of unmitigated security risks and relevant regulatory requirements.
● Assess & Diagnose:
Identify client needs and requirements related to Cybersecurity, UCaaS, and Data services, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Business Development:
● Find the Problem:
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to existing clients.
Service Delivery Oversight:
● Own the Problem:
Collaborate with our MSSP and SaaS partners to ensure the successful delivery of cybersecurity services and solutions.
Tech Stack Adoption:
● Show Your Work:
Fully adopt HubSpot and other tools within our tech stack, leveraging client data to prepare for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and recording everything you learn about your clients and their needs after every interaction.
Key KPIs:
● Performance Indicators:
Account Manager performance is assessed by Customer Retention rates, Net-Promoter Scores, and Account Expansions, by both number and MRR, among other metrics.
Qualifications:
● 2+ years as an Account Manager, Client Success Manager, or in a similar role within the cybersecurity industry.
● Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, services, and best practices.
● Prior experience as a developer or engineer is preferred.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
● Proficient in CRM software.
