About the Position:

You will serve as Chief, Construction Division responsible to the District Engineer for managing a large, complex and diverse program. This job is also advertised under announcement number CERI246079827361 (term appointment). Position will be filled under one of the following position titles and series: Supervisory Architect (0808) Supervisory Civil Engineer (0810) Supervisory Mechanical Engineer (0830) Supervisory Electrical Engineer (0850) Who May Apply:

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Basic Requirement for Architect (0808): A. Degree: Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in architecture or in a related field that included 60 semester hours of course work in architecture or related disciplines. B. Combination of Education and Experience: College-level education, training, and/or technical experience that furnished a thorough knowledge of the arts and sciences underlying professional architecture. Basic Requirement for Civil (0810), Mechanical Engineering (0830), and Electrical Engineering (0850): A. Degree: Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in engineering from an accredited program. B. Combination of Education and Experience: College-level education, training, and/or technical experience that furnished a thorough knowledge of the physical and mathematical sciences underlying engineering. Specialized Experience:

One year of specialized experience which includes managing and directing construction engineering staff engaged in Civil Works planning, design, and construction; AND Military Projects construction for Army and Air Force installations involving large family housing facilities, multi-storied hospitals, barracks complexes, administration facilities, etc. SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR:

This position requires a Professional Engineer (PE) or a Registered Architect (RA). You MUST submit a copy of your current and valid PE/RA license with your application. The expiration date on your license must be after the date you submit this application.
