About the Position:
You will serve as Chief, Construction Division responsible to the District Engineer for managing a large, complex and diverse program. This job is also advertised under announcement number CERI246079827361 (term appointment). Position will be filled under one of the following position titles and series: Supervisory Architect (0808) Supervisory Civil Engineer (0810) Supervisory Mechanical Engineer (0830) Supervisory Electrical Engineer (0850) Who May Apply:

In order to qualify, you must meet the education AND experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Basic Requirement for Architect (0808): A. Degree: Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in architecture or in a related field that included 60 semester hours of course work in architecture or related disciplines. B. Combination of Education and Experience: College-level education, training, and/or technical experience that furnished a thorough knowledge of the arts and sciences underlying professional architecture. Basic Requirement for Civil (0810), Mechanical Engineering (0830), and Electrical Engineering (0850): A. Degree: Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in engineering from an accredited program. B. Combination of Education and Experience: College-level education, training, and/or technical experience that furnished a thorough knowledge of the physical and mathematical sciences underlying engineering. Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes managing and directing construction engineering staff engaged in Civil Works planning, design, and construction; AND Military Projects construction for Army and Air Force installations involving large family housing facilities, multi-storied hospitals, barracks complexes, administration facilities, etc. SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR:
This position requires a Professional Engineer (PE) or a Registered Architect (RA). You MUST submit a copy of your current and valid PE/RA license with your application. The expiration date on your license must be after the date you submit this application.
