Sign-On Bonus Between $500-$3,500

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Follows a planned bus route to and from various locations to pick up or drop off passengers.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-tip inspection of assigned bus and loads / unloads passenger baggage.
  • Assist passengers on and off the bus when help is needed to ensure passenger safety.
  • Assist disabled passengers on and off the bus, as required by Federal regulations (in some instances, may require assisting in carrying the person).
  • Collects and accounts for all tickets and cash fares and answers customer questions about bus route.
  • Comply with all DOT, Federal and State traffic laws and regulations.
  • Reports any mechanical issues with bus such as brakes, steering, air conditioning, or other issues.
  • Maintain certifications, licenses and physicals regulated by DOT, FMCSA, FTA, and any other agencies Trans-Bridge Lines are bound to abide by.
  • Completion of initial training and any ongoing training.
  • Perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to operate a bus safely.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Punctual to work.

Education and Experience:

  • Must be 23 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain CDL and endorsements with provided training.
  • CDL, class A or B, with air brakes and passenger endorsement, is strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must pass drug and alcohol screenings and DOT physical exam.
  • Prolonged periods of operating the bus.
  • Must be able to assist passengers when needed.
  • Be able to lift 60 pounds and be able to lift 60 pounds at least 14 inches from road level.
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends when needed.
