In the role of Project Representative II, we'll count on you to:
Work under the supervision of the project Office Engineers Review and process RFIs and submittals Maintain marked electronic and hard copy redline drawings with RFIs, submittals, PCOs, FOs, etc. and verify that they are current Organize and distribute drawing revisions and log revised drawings Maintain test logs Read and clearly understand and interpret construction drawings and specifications Effectively communicate with teammates and other team members (Designers, Field Contract Administrators, Inspectors, Schedulers) Perform other duties as requested by the project Office Engineers to support the office engineering team, as needed Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, and identify discrepancies or conflicts within the documents Maintain accurate daily records of the contractor's daily activities and the work performed, labor, equipment, and materials used Review construction materials for Contract compliance Track quantities and develop pay estimates for acceptance Attend and/or chair construction progress meetings Conduct observations of the installation and acceptance testing of completed equipment and systems Identify nonconforming work, develop project punch-lists and maintain until corrected Develop record documentation for engineer review/acceptance Assist with project audit/closeout Perform additional duties as needed *This role is located on-site in San Francisco* Preferred Qualifications
Engineer-in-Training (EIT), Professional Engineer (PE), or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) Ability to interpret construction schedules Ability to problem solve and provide possible solutions to the engineer Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or combination of education and relevant experience A minimum of 5 years progressive construction experience on multidisciplinary projects Must have a fundamental understanding of contracts and familiarity with codes and laws governing construction Must possess the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts within documents Must be able to work in a team environment Must be computer literate, experience with Microsoft Office, Primavera, or related construction packages Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe
