In the role of

Construction Project Representative , we'll count on you to:

This is a staff augmented position to support the Owner and company employees at a solid waste management facility located on the west side of Oahu (minimum 1-year commitment) Support the Owner's interest on larger, more complex and smaller construction projects in a heavy industrial processing setting Maintain accurate daily records of 3rd party operator/construction site activity and produce required reports on progress, safety, quality, permit compliance, schedule, and budget status Review construction submittals, requests for information, shop drawings, pay applications, change orders and other documents on behalf of the Owner Assist with project audit and closeout tasks requested by the Owner Review and analyze baseline and updated construction schedules Coordinate activities with project team members, including the Owner, Engineer, Operator/Contractor Participate in problem solving and value engineering approaches focused on achieving cost savings while ensuring quality and integrity

Preferred Qualifications

Construction or design certifications Experience with estimating software (Timberline ), scheduling software (Primavera P3 or SureTrak ), project management software (Prolog ), and AutoCAD Ability to problem solve and provide possible solutions to the Owner

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or combination of education and relevant experience Demonstrated construction experience on multidisciplinary projects Must have a fundamental understanding of contracts and familiarity with codes and laws governing construction Must possess the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts within documents Must be able to work in a team environment Must be computer literate, experience with Microsoft Office, Primavera, or related construction packages Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company. The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
