We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President - Strategy to join our BNY Investments Strategy team. This role is based in New York.
Responsibilities:
Helps develop, shape & articulate BNY Investment's strategy as part of the Bank and across Investment affiliates. Partners with Senior Leadership on projects that drive organic growth, operating model changes, and other key priorities in line with overall business strategy. Conducts research and data analysis to aid in a project's strategy and design. Develops roadmaps for execution and KPIs for tracking the project execution status, provides progress updates to senior management. Develops presentations to communicate strategy and status updates for townhalls, executive committee meetings, Board, regulators, etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred. 7-10 years of related experience; experience in management consulting and/or banking preferred. An entrepreneurial and self-directed mindset - able to take a conceptual business challenge from an initial set of facts and hypotheses to a business plan and solution. Intellectual curiosity with a proactive mindset interested in shaping the future of financial services through one of its major stakeholders. Experience in working closely with business executives as a trusted advisor and in leading and working on projects with unrelenting focus. A thoughtful communicator who can express complex ideas in simple, practical terms for a wide range of audiences. A global mindset and experience working across a diverse set of environments. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $81,000 and $175,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
